by Editorial team
The study
Thirty healthy adults aged 30-55 received either CJC-1295 (no DAC) or placebo before bed for four weeks.
Sleep was measured in-lab using polysomnography on nights 1 and 28.
What changed
The treatment group showed roughly 12% more slow-wave sleep on average, with no significant change in total sleep time.
Subjective sleep quality scores improved modestly but did not reach statistical significance.
Limitations
The study was small, short, and unblinded for the prescribing clinician.
No long-term safety data was collected.
