What's actually the best peptide for weight loss right now?

Trying to cut through the noise. Semaglutide everywhere, tirzepatide buzz, retatrutide hype. What would you actually pick today?

Looking for a serious answer not a meme. I'm 41F, ~25 lb to lose, no diabetes, decent training background. GP open to helping me think through this.

Concerns: muscle loss, long-term sustainability, side effects in the first month. Not concerned about cost.

Tirzepatide is where I'd start for your profile. Slow titration (slower than label), 1.8 g/kg protein, lift 3x/week. The mechanism is cleaner than semaglutide and the muscle preservation is more achievable than people think.

Seconding tirzepatide. The 'less nausea' difference vs sema is real and matters when you're trying to actually eat your protein.

Retatrutide is interesting but not for a first GLP-1 cycle. Save it for if/when you plateau on tirzepatide in 6+ months.
